Every year on 19 November, the world celebrates Women’s Entrepreneurship Day — a moment dedicated to recognising, supporting, and elevating women who transform ideas into impact. Women entrepreneurs contribute significantly to innovation, social progress, and economic growth, yet they continue to face barriers that limit their full participation in the digital and technological landscape. 

In the age of digital transformation, one challenge stands out: the growing divide in access to Artificial Intelligence. While AI is rapidly reshaping every sector, many women-led small businesses and educators still feel underprepared or excluded from its opportunities. 

This is exactly where EmpowerAI steps in. 

 

Bridging the Digital Gap for Women Entrepreneurs 

EmpowerAI is an Erasmus+ project designed to support women entrepreneurs and VET educators in developing the skills and confidence needed to use AI in their daily professional activities. Through accessible learning materials, practical examples, and guidance tailored for non-technical users, EmpowerAI makes AI understandable and usable for everyone — not just experts. 

Women entrepreneurs often juggle multiple roles and responsibilities. AI can help streamline tasks, improve communication, support creative processes, and open new opportunities for growth. EmpowerAI aims to ensure that women feel ready to embrace these tools, using them to boost their business, productivity, and digital readiness. 

 

Supporting Educators Who Shape the Future 

The project also empowers VET teachers, who play a key role in preparing the next generation for a digitalised world. Through the EmpowerAI Online Training Course and AI Compendium-Database, educators can gain new insights into AI and integrate digital concepts into their teaching, promoting digital literacy and critical thinking in the classroom. 

In this way, EmpowerAI contributes not only to women’s professional development but also to future learners who will enter an AI-driven society.
