Piloting the EmpowerAI Course in Greece: Key Insights and Outcomes

The piloting of the EmpowerAI Online Training Course in Greece ran from August to mid-November 2025 and offered a straightforward view of how women entrepreneurs and VET teachers interact with AI learning materials in real conditions. The course was delivered fully online and at each participant’s own pace. The recruitment was done through VET institutions, the local Chamber, social media posts, and direct outreach.

Most participants were mid-career professionals. Their starting level of AI knowledge varied widely, yet all of them reported clear improvement after completing the training. They watched the videos, read the material, and engaged with practical tasks. Only a few completed every activity, mainly because of limited time, not because of difficulty or lack of interest.

Feedback on the platform was very positive. Navigation was easy, there were no technical issues, and the content felt relevant to their daily work. Overall satisfaction was extremely high, with an average rating of 4.8 out of 5.

The piloting confirmed that EmpowerAI meets the needs of its target groups. Women entrepreneurs felt more confident using AI tools for their business, while educators found useful resources to introduce AI concepts to their learners. Despite the usual time constraints of adult learners, the Greek pilot showed that a simple, practical, and non-technical approach to AI can make a strong impact.
